About the District

Glide is located in a beautiful, rural area along the world-famous wild and scenic North Umpqua River. This small town is 20 minutes east of Roseburg (by four lane highway) in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of southwestern Oregon .

We have an enrollment of 695 students attending school four days per week. Glide School District encompasses 1,264 square miles, extending from Roseburg to Diamond Lake . Within the district we have one large elementary school, a middle school, and one high school.

Outstanding outdoor recreational activities in our area include: hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and kayaking, fishing and hunting.
